Olympic games are going on in Vancouver. The olympic games are awsome …. Canada gots 14 gold….. 7 silver……. and 15bronze. Its really awsome that canada actully is winning some medals. Right now america gots 7 gold….. 7 silver…… and 10 bronze. That sucks but good job to the americans. So far USA gots the most medals they got 25 medals, Germany gots 21 medals, norway gots 14 medals, The russian federation gots 11 medals, Canada gots 10 medals, Korea, and Austria got 9 medals each, france gots 8 medals, swizerland and sweden both got 9 medals …. all the countrys are doing good, but since I am Canadian ……GO CANADA. Good luck to all the winter olympic game players. Great job playing the games

Heores…….. Terry Fox
Heroes are people who save lives. You may not be a hero to every one but be a hero to a couple of people. A hero is someone who wants nothing in return and go above and beyond the call of duty. Heroes dedicate there lives to help others they would rather sacrifice their own life to save another life.
I am going to tell you about one hero his name is Terry Fox. You may know him as the guy who ran across Canada with a prosthetic leg. I an going to tell you more about him.Terry fox had osteosarcoma which is a form of cancer. He had to get his leg cut off because the cancer was in his knee.
After he got his leg cut off he decided run across Canada, he planed to run from St. Johns Newfoundland and run to Vancouver BC. When Terry Fox reached Thunder bay Ontario Terry found out he had got cancer in his lungs. Terry ran for 138 days and ran 5 373 KM. Terry was unable to finish his run for the marathon of hope.
Terry was in the hospital for many of days. He went into a coma on June 27 1981. He died June 28 1981. While he ran for the marathon of hope he raise 24.17 million dollars for cancer reaserch.
4 reasons why Terry Fox is a hero is he ran across canada with a prostetic leg, he raised 24.17 million dollars for cancer reaserch, he earning money for cancer reaserch, and he died for other people. If you want tolearn more about him come here
